Grace Memorial Baptist Church Administration Building
Working out of a single wide trailer for over 10 years, Grace Memorial Baptist Church decided that a new administration building was long overdue. Montgomery Roth was tasked with centralizing the various administrative functions, and creating a new sense of style for future buildings for the campus while bowing to and borrowing elements from the existing sanctuary. The exterior design evokes a modern, pedestrian-scaled single-story building using vertical planes, masonry and stucco materials, and storefront systems. The interior design used masonry walls for highlights, cork flooring for acoustics, stained concrete flooring for low maintenance, and warm paint colors. MRAID provided full architecture and interior design for this newly constructed Church Administration Building. The program included a lobby, conference room, administrative offices for church personnel, counseling rooms, break room, and copy area. Project Team: John Montgomery, Kelly Nicklas, Jonathan Polk, and Heather Bellaire. Completed in 2010.
